Student Scholarship Opportunity for Environmental Journalism 2018 in Flint, MI

The Cooperative Institute for Great Lakes Research (CIGLR) is offering scholarship opportunities for students from nine of its affiliated research universities to attend Environmental Journalism 2018, the 28th Annual Conference of the Society of Environmental Journalists, October 3-7, in Flint,Michigan.

CIGLR will provide conference registration, travel and housing assistance for up to four students from CIGLR's Regional Consortium Universities: Central Michigan University, Cornell University, Grand Valley State University, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, University of Minnesota-Duluth, Michigan State University, Ohio State University, University of Windsor and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

The application deadline is September 11, 2018 at 11:59 pm Eastern. Email applications to Mary Ogdahl, CIGLR Program Manager. Applicants will be notified of their status by 5 pm on September 14.
