Meet SEJ member Carol Brzozowski! Carol is an experienced freelance journalist whose work has appeared in more than 200 media outlets. She is a regular contributor to publications in the environment sector, specifically as it relates to water efficiency, stormwater mitigation, solid waste, erosion control and infrastructure. Carol writes everything from long-form stories to profiles on people in these industries. Prior to becoming an independent journalist, she spent 10 years as a newspaper reporter, including at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
Carol has been an SEJ member since 2006. Regarding the benefits of membership, she said, "SEJ has provided networking opportunities with other journalists, resources for interviews and research, and information on trends worth noting. As a freelance journalist, that is significant given that we work solo."
