NAJA Tribal Nations Media Guide

In October 2020, the Native American Journalists Association (NAJA) published the Tribal Nations Media Guide, a reporting tool for covering Indigenous communities.   

The Guide offers a context checklist to consider when reporting on Indigenous communities:

• Treaties
• People
• Culture
