"The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) is launching a $4.2 million campaign supporting Sen. Kay Hagan in North Carolina (D) just two weeks before Election Day.
The campaign will consist of TV ads, mail, and one-on-one contact with voters to bolster Hagan’s reelection campaign against Republican candidate Thom Tillis.
“Republican Senate nominee Thom Tillis would leave North Carolinians vulnerable to harmful pollution from coal ash ponds, power plants, and other sources of contamination,” said Daniel J. Weiss, senior vice president of campaigns for the LCV."
