"The Biden administration will soon unveil a broad plan for curtailing methane emissions from the oil and gas sector, climate adviser Rick Duke says, amid mounting warnings of the potent greenhouse gas role in near-term warming.
“There’s been an incredible, largely behind-the-scenes effort already to prepare to move faster and more comprehensively to cut methane domestically at the same time that we’re addressing this as a diplomatic imperative,” Duke, a special assistant to the president on climate change, says in a media briefing organized by Climate Nexus."
